As part of our commitment to improving education and creating meaningful learning opportunities for children and young people, FoundMe Foundation made a donation of books to the Sekyere East District Library in the Ashanti Region, Ghana
The donation forms part of our vision to promote reading, literacy, knowledge development, and access to educational resources within our communities. We recognize that access to appropriate reading materials can play an important role in helping students develop their vocabulary, comprehension, critical-thinking skills, creativity, and confidence.
For many students, a library can be more than a place to borrow books. It can provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can explore new ideas, develop their interests, complete schoolwork, and cultivate a lifelong love for reading and learning.
Through this initiative, FoundMe Foundation hopes to encourage more students to make use of the library and develop reading habits that can support their academic and personal development.
